The Paradisus Varadero Resort & Spa and SO / Paseo del Prado La Habana hotels were recognized with the World MICE Awards 2021, as “Best Hotel in Cuba” and “Best New Hotel in the Caribbean”, respectively.

The Paradisus Varadero Resort & Spa, owned by the Spanish chain Meliá Hotels International, is designed for couples, and offers various options for wedding ceremonies and renewal of vows, reports the site Excelencias News Cuba.

The facility also has two convention areas for MICE tourism (meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions), with five multipurpose rooms.

The SO / Paseo del Prado La Habana, of the French chain Accor, competed with other prestigious hotels such as the Koi Resort Saint Kitts, Curio Collection by Hilton (St. Kitts and Nevis) and the Provincial Palace of San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Located on the famous Havana corner of Prado and Malecón, the “Best New Hotel in the Caribbean” 2021, specialized in meetings and events, offers well-equipped facilities and beautiful views of the Havana coastline.

According to the information, in the section of “Best Event Organizer in Cuba” in 2021, the award was given this Monday to MICE Cuba, which competed in that category with Solways and Green Alligator.

The World MICE Awards recognize and reward the excellence of tourism facilities that promote MICE tourism worldwide. (ACN)
